Big Week Ahead for 15, 17 and 18s
The week ahead of us in Johnstown is indeed a big week with three of our teams competing again during the week for Silver wear.
On Wednesday night in Kells at 715 pm both our 15s and 17s will compete in the final of the HSE NECSL Shield. Both teams played in semi finals this week to battle their way to the finals.
On Sunday the 18th the under 18s will play in the NDSL League decider at home in the MDL against Drumcondra, so whom ever wins this game wins the League.
For all three game we would like to see as much support as possible. On Wednesday if as many parents and supports could come to kells to cheer on the 15s and 17s and On Sunday the game is on our door step so we would ask as many from the club to come down with your club coat on.
So lets all once again this year get behind our team and hear us chear them on to victory.

Under 15s Through to Shield Final
A big well done to our Under 15s who last night qualified for the Final of the shield next Saturday in the MDL. We would like to wish them all the best and would ask that as many as possible come down to support the lads in this import game on Saturday in the MDL

Match tomorrow v Kingscourt playing away. Meeting in the Round O car part at 1630 sharp. We will need a few parents to help bring the team to Kingscourt. Please let Paddy know if you can help
Under 17s Match Details
Can everyone please meet in the MDL at 1245 tomorrow for the Cup Final. Bring drinks as it is a cup final so there could be extra time etc.
Under 17s Cup Final
Tomorrow at the cup final the NECSL are doing a commemorative Cup Final program this will be available in the Club house and will cost 1 Euro. All funds raised from sale of the cup final book are being donated to SOSAD
SOSAD – Save Our Sons and Daughters is an Organization with five main goals
- Raise awareness of suicide in Ireland.
- Break the taboo surrounding suicide.
- Provide support and direction to those feeling suicidal
- Provide support and direction to those approached by someone feeling suicidal
- Provide support and direction for those bereaved by suicide.
So not only will you get a nice commemorative souvenir of the Teams Cup Final but every penny raised goes to help this great loacl charity
