With out Volunteers we would have no Club!
Therefore you and I are the lifeblood of the Johnstown FC. Volunteering is fun, fulfilling and a great way to get involved with your community. Everyone who volunteers must complete some basics steps.
- Before anyone can start, they must complete and Return their Garda Vetting.
- Within three months of starting, they must complete the safeguard Course.
- An absolute minimum of PDP 1 completed with a willingness to complete all Courses.
Garda Vetting
Everyone must have Valid Garda Vetting and must renew it on time every three years. The video below will show you what involved
All Garda vetting forms can be found on the FAI Site link Below, and one of three people in the club can sign your form. You can drop us a line or your Current Coach can get us!

Safekeeping Course
The safekeeping in sports course is a three-hour induction of the Dos and Donts of dealing with Children in sport and our legal obligations. Every member must hold a current certificate, and this must be renewed every three years.
The club will pay for the course so all you have to do is give up your time.
The first time you do the course, you must go and Physically do the course. Then in three years, you can do the refresher course. The refresher is valid for two years, and when it expires, you have to do the first course again.
