We will be hosting a gate collection for Jigsaw Meath at tomorrow’s JFC MDL tournament. This is an excellent opportunity for our NECSL football community to support an extremely worthy cause for young people in our community.

Jigsaw Meath provides vital mental health support to young people in our community. The work they do is truly important, and we are proud to be able to support them.

We encourage all tournament attendees to donate generously to Jigsaw Meath at the gate collection. Your support will make a real difference in the lives of young people in our community who may be struggling with mental health issues.

In addition to the gate collection, we will also have Jigsaw donation points at the MDL Shop for your loose change.

Paws A While Joins Johnstown FC As Tournament Sponsor

Johnstown FC is delighted to announce Paws a While as a sponsor for our upcoming JFC MDL Tournament. Paws a While, an independent animal veterinary hospital, has been providing expert care to pets in Trim, Johnstown, Navan, and surrounding areas since 1995. A place has just become available for an Under 8s Boys team to participate in our upcoming football tournament.

The tournament will be held on Saturday, 25th February, from 10am to 12pm at the MDL Navan.

The cost to participate is €80, with a 5v5 format and a maximum of 8 players per squad. This is an excellent opportunity for young players to showcase their skills and have fun on the pitch.

Congratulations to Coláiste Na Mi U17 Football Team on their recent 3 – 1 win at the North East Leinster Schools Final.

Johnstown FC was well represented with three talented young players from our u16 Squad; Conor Hanigan, Seán O’Connell, Max Curtis, and former player Brandon O’Callaghan.

The outstanding display of skill and collaboration on the football field was a clear indication of the continuous training and growth opportunities provided to these young players as members of both Johnstown FC and Coláiste Na Mi’s football community.

The Johnstown Football Club MDL Tournament is coming up and we can’t wait to welcome over 240 players from participating teams:

Johnstown FC, Balrath FC, Drogheda Town, Dunshlaughlin Youths, Kells Celtic Youths, Navan Town Cosmos, OMP and Park Villa.

Here’s a quick rundown of what you need to know about Johnstown Football Club’s MDL Tournament:

Date: February 25th, 2023.

Time: 10 am to 2 pm.

Location: Johnstown Football Club @ MDL.

Car Entry: 2 Euro per Car, all proceeds of car park collection to Jigsaw Meath.

Ages: Under 8s, 9s and 10 Boys and Girls

All places are now booked, we do have waiting list which you can request to be added to here: info@johnstownfc.ie.

All tournaments are by their nature, competitive, but our main focus is on participation and having fun.
