JFC 1st game 2014-2015

First League Game 2014-2015

Tomorrow sees our first team start their campaign in the MDL John Gorman Motors Division Two when we take on local Navan side Torro United.  The game kicks off at 11:15 in Torros grounds and as this is our first game against a tough side we need all the support we can get so once again put on your red and white, your club coat and cheer our boys on.  The difference it makes to the team to have you all there cheering them on is immense.

The team themselves are meeting at 10am at Spar in Johnstown and will travel on as a group to Torro.  You are welcome to join them here or come on up closer to kick off at 1115am.

Tully Cup Semi Final

This evening, our senior 1st team face Premier Division Bellurgan Utd in the semi final of the Tully Bookmakers Cup at Rock Celtic in Dundalk, kick-off 8PM.

This is a huge game for not just for Ian Sheridan’s team, but for the whole club. Understandably with the game in Dundalk, supporter numbers will be small but we’d appreciate any and all support that could get to the game to cheer the lads on in their quest to reach the final.

I know I speak for the entire club when I wish all the lads the very best of luck tonight.

COME ON JOHNSTOWN!!
