Playing away to kells in the cup this Saturday. Meeting at the Silver Tankard Pub on the Kells Road at 1015. This is our biggest game so far this year so lads early to bed and get plenty of rest tonight.

Senior Keeper Pat Hegarty our Mo Bro
You may have seen our previous post but we would like to mention it again as it is for a great cause. Senior goalkeeper and club goalkeeper trainer Pat Hegarty is doing movember for mens health awareness.
Whilst we are all aware of what movember is all about we wanted to understand why Pat had decided to donate his Face and some would say his dignity to Movember!
Pat explained to us a dad of a friend of his died over 2 years ago from Cancer , So Pat wanted to do this small thing. If you could please donate any amount big or small would help Pat raise funds for this very important cause.

It’s always nice to see the number of teams increase even if the number of words and column inches has decreased.

Kacper Makes Shortlist
For the second time in 3 weekends, a Johnstown FC front man has made the The Junior Soccer Portal shortlist for the Macron Player of the Week award.
Thanks to his decisive hat-trick this weekend and superb performances in midfield in recent weeks, Kacper Zeberek was nominated and ultimately shortlisted for the award. Sadly, as with Daniele 2 weeks ago, he didn’t win but we are sure one of our players will win it before the season is out!
