When Hector Came to Town
The general population of Johnstown was very excited when Hector came to the shopping centre to present his show Breakfast with Hector on 2FM and from about 630 am the car park started to build up with cars and crowds.
Of course with Hector in the car park our challenge was how do we get the big man our Jersey, well you cant visit Johnstown and leave with out a Johnstown FC Jersey. After many phone calls texts and even tweets we relized that we have a man on the insides. Yes indeed Britans Got Talent stars and You Tube sensations Jack and Cormac were going to perform and of course Jack plays for us.
Jack being a proud Club player was only too happy to oblige and after himself and Cormac performed Jack proudly presented hector with his very own Johnstown FC jersey. A massive massive thank you to Jack and Cormac for doing this for us we were delighted with the Photos

Tonight the NECSL coaching league fixtures for this week were released. This weekend is the last of the Coaching leagues prior to Christmas and should also be the last of the 11-a-side games too. So enjoy the games this weekend folks

Fixtures Update
All the latest fixtures are now available on our website. The NECSL 11-A-Side games will finish for Christmas break on the 7th December, see note from Leage http://www.necsl.ie/necsl-christmas-break%E2%80%8F. Senior teams please note the dates as we have fixtures available till the 15th of December.
At this point in time we have not got the fixtures for the Coaching leagues they normally come out on a Tuesday and will update when available.

Under 13s Match Details
Playing away to kells in the cup this Saturday. Meeting at the Silver Tankard Pub on the Kells Road at 1015. This is our biggest game so far this year so lads early to bed and get plenty of rest tonight.
Chronicling Our Season….
This week’s Meath Chronicle features match reports from 4 of our teams, both senior side, the U13s and U12s with a nice big photo of our U15s.
It’s always nice to see the number of teams increase even if the number of words and column inches has decreased.

Johnnstown 13’s Training Tuesday @ 6pm, astro pitch 6 & Thursday @ 6 pm, astro pitch 2. Make sure to wear shin guards & bring €2 subs each night.
We want everyone to attend each session every week as we want to keep this winning streak going but if you can’t make it just let us know. Game at home to Robinstown this Saturday. See you all tonight
