Best of Luck Trevor

All journeys have a start and an end and it is unfortunate that Trevor Green Under 11 Manager has now decided to end his journey with Johnstown FC.

 Trevor has been and fantastic asset to the club and an extremely committed and hard working manager.  But often when you volunteer life gets in the way and with an ever increasing work schedule Trevor felt it was time to step down.  On behalf of all the Committee, the managers, your team and the whole club we would like to wish a fond farewell to Trevor and all the best. We will always be here for you and you will always be welcomed back if circumstances allow.

Training Under 13a

Training for Under 13s Thursday 22th in Johnstown Park @ 5:30pm, We need to get a full attendance of players if possibe as we need to get the 2 teams sorted out as soon as possible. Football boots & shin-gaurds to be worn & €2 Subs required too.

We have membership forms that we need to give out too so just ask for 1 at the end of training.

Get the sponsorship cards back into us too, we want to get the Jackets ordered ASAP

Match Report JFC Under 12s Vs OMP

Johnstown U12’s had a comfortable win against OMP’s U13’s in the MDL
winning 5-0 on the night. The game was made easy by the the back four
of Andrew, Jack, Rahaul & David who stopped any attack created by OMP.

The goals were scored by Adam Donohoe 2, Luke Duffy, Benji Taylor &
Scott Donohoe. All of the goals were created from play with
midfielders Ryan, Euan, Luke & Benji working well together to create
the openings for the front players.

Again another solid performance  from our U12’s in their preparation for the new season.

Training Under 15s

Training tomorrow night in MDL 6:15 until 7:30.  This is the
last week of our training trials so full attendance is required.  We
have a game this Sunday vs Dunshaughlin in Dunshaughlin at 10 o’clock.
I need to know availability of players and parents willing to give
lifts ASAP.

Seniors 1st Team

Training Seniors

Seniors training is Tuesday and Thursday at 1930 in the MDL at 1915 please be on time. As the 2nd team is playing a friendly on Wednesday if they can not make all two days training please insure you can make Thursdays training.

Albion Cup Under 15s

Well done to everyone on their performance in the Albion
tournament. We played 3 strong sides and competed very well against
them in winning 2-0 against Albion, drawing 1-1 against swords and
unluckily losing 1-0 against Maynooth.

 

Going forward for the newseason, for a team that has only merged together in the last couple of
weeks we are shaping up to being a very good side and hopefully we
will do well in the coming season.

P.s, a big thanks to the parents
who gave up their Saturday to give lifts to the kids to the games,
this was very much appreciated

Training Under 10s

Under 10’s opening training session Tuesday at 6.45.pm in MDL €2 subs. We will also be letting you know about registration for the new season. If you know of players born in 06 or after they are welcome to. Please let us know if you can’t make it

We will also have sponser cards for you to sell for training tops,each child must sell one card. Claire will have them with your name on so please collect from her at training thanks.
