Smart Phone Friendly

Nerds never sleep and certainly not whilst we can tinker. So over the last few days the club nerd has been fiddling with the site and we have some improvements that we think you will like.

Mobile phone and tablet friendly

From now on the site is responsive. It will know if you are on a phone or iPad and the display will adjust to fit.

Fixtures on front page
These now tell you what league the fixtures are in so you can see your games immediately. Seniors, Under 16s or shield games the competition name is there.

Logon/register

We would encourage you to interact with the site like articles and posts. Tweet the links and you can do all of that on the site itself.

Now too you can create a logon on the bottom right and leave a comment directly on the site. If you do decided to leave a comment you can log in by creating and account or use your existing Facebook or twitter logins as the site is fully integrated with both services.

Under 13s Training

Under 13’s training Tuesday 3rd @ 5:30pm Mdl, Wear astro boots, Shin guards & bring €2 Subs. We need parents to fill in the team registration forms & anyone who hasn’t got a club membership form can get one from Paul or Barry, we need everyone to make an effort to attend thanks

Pre-season friendly U13 OMP 4 Vs Johnstown 4

Pre-season friendly U13 OMP 4 Johnstown 4

A very entertaining game in what was our last friendly before the season begins. A slow start by Johnstown cost us an early goal and despite controlling most of the first half we ended up 3-1 down by halftime. Johnstown upped their game for the second half and finally started finishing all the chances we were creating to put us 4-3 up. An unfortunate handball cost us a penalty which was duly converted by OMP right on full time.
Alot of positives for Johnstown to take from this game with some great football played and some stand out individual performances, particularly from man of the match Kyle O Hara who had a great game at centre half.

Away Game Directions

If you have a look at our Home page on our website you will see all our recent fixtures are displayed.  If this fixture is an away game when you click into the game you will get directions to the Venus.  In some cases we had the actual Co-Ordinates of the venue so the map will be bang on.  So whilst you may still get lost going to Away games you no longer have an excuse

Bellow is an example of an away game where we have the official directions and I had the Co-Ordinates

Under 16s

Training tomorrow, Saturday in the MDL at 10 until 12. Need everyone to attend and if you can’t make it let us know. We will have a friendly game next week and then our first league match on sat 7th September so I need everyone to commit to training. Thanks

Fixtures listings

For all the fixtures in any league,sheild or cup we are in you will find them in a few places.

On the home page you will get a summery of our up coming games for all teams.  Then if you click on the link at the bottom of these fixtures it will bring you too the full fixtures for our Leagues, Shields and Cups.

And if all of that isn’t enough you can go too each team section and look fro fixtures for each individual team.
